Information we process

To provide the app, we process your Firebase account identifier and, when supplied by your sign-in provider, your email address and display name. If you use personalized astrology features, we process your birth date, birth time, birth place, coordinates, timezone and chart-derived information. We also store forecasts, affirmations, favorites, language settings, subscription tier and rewarded-ad access records associated with your account.

If you send feedback, we store its category and message with your account, along with the app version and platform to help us understand the context. You may also provide an email address if you would like us to reply; it is optional. We send feedback to our support mailbox so we can review it and respond. Feedback records remain linked to your account until account deletion, subject to the exceptions below.

Our website uses essential session and security cookies for forms. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. The mobile app may show rewarded ads; advertising services process information needed to deliver and verify those ads.

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and provide the features you request.
• To calculate personal astrology content and save it to your account.
• To generate or translate requested content using external AI and translation services.
• To verify rewarded ads, apply subscription access, respond to support requests and prevent abuse.

We process account and birth-profile information to provide the service you request, and use information needed for security and abuse prevention to operate the service safely. Where a feature relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent through the feature or by contacting us.

Service providers and sharing

We share information with categories of providers that help operate Affirmoon: Firebase authentication and infrastructure services, advertising services for rewarded ads, app stores for purchases, and external AI and translation services for requested content.

For personalized generation and translation, the backend sends astrology-chart-derived context and relevant text. It does not include your account email, Firebase identifier or direct name in those requests. We do not name individual AI providers in this policy. Providers may use subprocessors and may process data in other countries under their own service and data-protection terms.

Apple and Google process purchases made through their stores. Affirmoon does not receive or store full payment-card details; our backend stores the subscription tier needed to provide app access.

How long we keep information

We keep account and profile information while your account is active. When account deletion is completed, we delete the Firebase account and associated Affirmoon records, including birth profiles, saved content and translations of personal content. We may retain limited information where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to processing where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it. To make a request, use the Support page or the account deletion page. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live; in the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Adults and children

Affirmoon is intended for adults and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes

We may update this policy when our service or data practices change. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
